Hi
How can we change a pop up title in Lectora.
After Publishing a course in HTMl, the pop up title reflects that name which have used as at the root (course name).
eg: my course name is abc... i want my pop up title to be def.
Only at the pop up title, i want different text.

Even i too facing the same issue. I am a new user of Lectora. While i am trying to give feedback for my questions, the message box shows the title as Lectora Inspire. I want to change the title and replace with my own wordings. Is there any possibility to change the same. Please give me an idea to change it.

Have you tried going into the pop up window properties and changing the name there? Not sure if this is what you are referring to.0

This only seems to happen when it's published to the light box feature. I went to the properties window for the popup and changed the name there, but once it's published it still only shows the title of the overall course in the browser title.
Thanks for any help on this.

Hello,
Does anyone know how to edit the title of the feedback box pop-up? I don't know where I can find the properties for the pop-up window.
Thanks for your help.

If you do not want to use the root title text (default behavior) you can use JavaScript (jQuery) to easily add your own text.
- Add jQuery in a header scripting HTML Extension.
- Add an action (Run JavaScript) after the process question action on a submit button with the following script:
Replace "Whatever you want in the title" with your own text (leave the quotes).
Note: If you plan on copying and pasting the above code you must replace the quotes as they do not copy and paste correctly.0 -
Thanks for your answer Darrel.
I don't have any experience in working with JavaScript. Could you please explain the first step to me: "Add jQuery in a header scripting HTML Extension."? I already applied the second step (run the JavaScript on the submit button).

1. Go to http://jquery.com/download/
2. Select "Download the compressed, production jQuery 3.2.1" to download the newest full version of the minified jQuery. Remember where you put it as you will have to browse to it in a minute.
3. In your Lectora project select the title so that when you add the extension it will be the second item in the title explorer.
4. Select the INSERT tab. Add the Web Object HTML Extension.
5. With the HTML Extension selected click on the PROPERTIES tab.
6. Select TYPE: Header Scripting
7. Select FILE: Browse for file - Browse to and select the jQuery file you just downloaded.
You should now have access to jQuery in your project.0
