Lectora is the only remaining application that I need windows for. Please come to the Mac
I posted a statement like this some time ago and got no reply from users or response from Lectora. There are no decent SCORM creation courses for Macintosh and I have no idea why. Like you, if not for Lectora, I could do all my work without Windows. Maybe they can't do it. But here's to hoping! If Microsoft can make their software for Mac, maybe Trivantis can too.0 -
I suppose that the absolute majority of Lectora licences is purchased by corporate customers who use Windows. Independent e-learning developers who use Lectora are severely outnumbered, and only a fraction of those use Macs. So, developing and supporting a Mac version is probably not commercially justified.
On the other hand, I see a lot of companies doing it, so probably the numbers are changing in favour of Mac users.0 -
Why not try out Lectora Online? You'll get all of the desktop publishing features of desktop Lectora, but you can access it from your browser - whether on a PC or a Mac. You'll also have access to additional collaboration and project management tools, reviewers, access by roles, shared titles, versioning, and more.0

Sometimes you may be creating content while connected to a secure network or none at all. A Mac version would be terrific!0

You can run Windows in a virtual machine (VirtualBox is freeware). I tried it, works flawlessly.0

Download a Mac program called wine and install through there. That should work.0

Yes, and he already does by the looks of things. But like the originator of this thread says to use lectora he still needs to use windows which he would rather not have to do. So if Trivantis made a native mac version, then he wouldn't have to use a virtual machine to do it, and keep switching back to OS X to do all the other things he already does. Plus it would save him a little time in the process.0
