Hi!

When I save files in Lectora, it automatically creates the following files:

  1. an .awt
  2. an .ini
  3. an images folder
  4. an extern folder (typically/no always)

When my peer saves files in Lectora, it doesn't create the structure above. It creates the following:

  1. an .awt
  2. an .ini
  3. a zipped folder that looks like a scorm file

We are both selecting the same option, Save As but getting different results.

Does anyone know how to change settings/preferences so that my peer can utilize the same file structure I have?

TIA for any assistance!

The folders you get when you save the project in Lectora depend on the objects in the project.

You need images to get the images folder, audio and video will give you a media folder, ..

@tasiala , I understand what you're saying, but I think the user has something totally different on their hands.

@TCW15 , are you physically observing the second user performing the save process or are you taking them for their word? I bet you anything they are clicking the publish button thinking they are hitting the save/save as button (they are nearly side by side in the upper left corner).

@andrew-robertson, thanks for replying! I watched them click on the Save As option. It was so weird, I didn't want to take for granted they could be telling me something incorrect above what was happening.

Great! Sorry, I didn't want to come off sounding mean or anything like that because I've seen it numerous times in my own environment during the onboarding process.

I think this may be something for the Lectora techs to help you out with. You may need to open a ticket so that they have it in their queue to get you looked after
