More control of the Audio Player

We would like more control over the look and feel of the audio player. In the past, this has been achieved with CSS. However, the names of the elements or how they are identified have changed over time and we have to keep adjusting our CSS depending on the version. Version 21 seems to have broken many elements we use.
We would like to have a control panel to adjust the height and width of the player. Adjust the features like volume and CC options. Adjust the Caption box in height and width.
Complete control of all elements of the audio player through a control panel.

    Note that I made a similar request some years ago, and again more recently.
