Keyboard Shortcuts / Back Doors

I was thinking for complex scenarios (especially video) it would be useful to be able to add back doors to scenes. You could add hotspots with visibility controlled by a global variable but how about assigned customisable keyboard shortcuts? e.g. use CTRL-0 to jump to menu / CTRL-1 to jump to scene 1 and CTRL-End to skip to end of 360/2D videos.
