How to import variables from one title to another?

Hello,

I have two existing titles which I want to merge to one. Both of them have a lot of inline variables and actions. I have tried two thing; go to Tools->From Other Title and then I browse of the title. Using this option, the imported title does not work properly and the actions and linkages between pages are all haywire. The second option I tried was to save the title I want to import as a Library Object. And then, go to the title in which to which I want to add the title, and access the library object. The title saved as a library object gets added below the existing title. This option is better because it brings in all interactivity as well. However, I am not able to see variables in the Variable Manager. The title saved as a library object has a lot of variables and they have default values associated to them. But, none of them is visible in the variable manager when I tried to change the values.

Any tips would help.

Thanks,

-Shiva

    Hello,

I have two existing titles which I want to merge to one. Both of them have a lot of inline variables and actions. I have tried two thing; go to Tools->From Other Title and then I browse of the title/chapter. Using this option, the imported chapter does not work properly and the actions and linkages between pages are all haywire. There are no variables appearing under the Variable Manager. The second option I tried was to save the chapter I want to import as a Library Object. And then, go to the title in which to which I want to add the title, and access the chapter I saved as a library object. The chapter saved as a library object gets added below the existing title.
