Turning an object into any other object

It would be cool if you were able to turn an object (say a text card) into a hot spot or vice-versa.

I had this temp text card that I'll be replacing with a nicer looking graphic to which I already had some actions assigned to.

It would be cool to add this feature, so I don't have to reassign my new asset to the functionality I already had going with the temp asset.
