Issue on Publish for Seamless Play

Hi,

When I publish the RCD (Responsive Course Design) with media (audio/video) course to “ Publish for Seamless Play”, it’s not working on Online URL (Upload FTP server and Sumtotal or SCORM). It's showing the loading page going on. For your reference, please check attached screenshot.

Also, when I uncheck the Publish for Seamless Play option its working fine, unfortunately we used media files on the course.

Can you please help me.

If you have custom Javascript in the course...it needs some specific formats to work in Seamless Play

Please tell us what version of Lectora you are using andwhat type of "media" you are including.

Trivantis will doubtless request that you try using the very newest version of Lectora, which fixes several issues found in previous versions.

Hi everybody,

we found a similar issue with Lectora Inspire 18.2.1.

If we publish a responsive course with seamless play enabled, the audio/video is playing but sinchronized actions are NOT working at all.

Hi @Naresh  and @cfrancone5753 would it be possible to get a copy of your title?  What browser are you using, and is this on a desktop or a mobile device?  I have been trying to recreate this on v18.2.1 but not seeing any issues with the title I created

Hi @tea

The issue is failing synch with audio in table and phone devices with seamless play. We are using the last version of Chrome (the one used by our clients)

I confirm the issue is still there with Lectora v18.2.2.

Please find here attached an extract of the course, where page 2 and 3 are not working when published with seamless option.

Thanks for the title @cfrancone5753 I haven't been able to recreate the error in my own title, but I can when I use yours. I haven't figured out what's going on yet, but I opened a bug and made the title available to our dev team.

When I test your file both HTML and Scorm with Seamless play and open in moodle the events do work on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S and a Samsung Galaxy S7.

@cfrancone5753 we are working to get v18.2.3 out this week, and I am not seeing your issues with this release. Keep an eye out for it and hopefully it fixes your issue

@timk thank you for your results: I tried the course only one tablet and 2 phones with Android OS 6. Did you use Chrome for the test?

Test was:

Android 6.0.1 (Tablet)

Andriod 8.0.0 (Phone)

Chrome 80.0.3987.119 (Both)

Scorm 1.2

Lectora 18.2.1

Moodle 3.5
