When using random questions from a pool, how to get page number to display?

When my quiz runs in its full version, automatic page numbering works. However, when I'm using the question pool function, page number always displays as "Page 0 of 0" for every question. Is there a way to get this to work properly when using random questions from a question pool?

Which version of Lectora is it?

Which way do you use to fill in the textfield?

Inline variable replacement doesn't work consistently for randomized pages but "Change content" actions should.

    Hi Tim,

    V18.0.1

Inside the test section, Insert > Page Number > Number by Section, include total number of pages.

Could a status bar work in a random question pool scenario?

I've not yet started with Lectora 18.

Sorry for this question: Do you have a section in your test? You might try numbering by chapter. If that doesn't work neither, sumbit a ticket.

I've got a similar setup in my randomized quiz, where the page title reads "Question X of 30".

On the text field I have a Change Contents action with the following code:
    • Question VAR(PageInSection) of 30

It worked with the page count inside the test section. I'm just using the Page Count preset action.

    Thanks

I tried Question VAR(PageInSection) of 30, and that didn't work, but then I realized  that the page count was inside the test section but randomization was set at the test level. I turned it off at the test level and turned it on at the section level and this seems to have gotten it working properly.
