I downloaded the sample project “Chinese Tea Culture” and then started working on a custom responsive layout of my own.

I’ve run into some issues and wondered if anyone else had experienced the same problems. I’m using Lectora 17.1.1 on a desktop.
  1. Custom buttons and custom images are both cutoff in Run and Preview mode for Chrome and Firefox. They display properly in IE.
  2. Buttons that work in the “Chinese Tea Culture” sample project and display properly, no have issues when brought into version 17.1.1 for Chrome and Firefox.
  3. Stock Library buttons are cutoff both in Run and in Preview in Browser as well in Chrome and Firefox. They display properly in IE!
I went with the default device sizes and had the Auto Page Height checkbox selected. Unchecking Auto Page Height and then rechecking it changes the dimensions for Tablet Portrait, Phone Landscape, and Phone Portrait as follows:
  • Desktop (1009x662)
  • Tablet Landscape (1009x662)
  • Tablet Portrait (785x1260) when you start a project. 785x1000 in shown in the “Chinese Tea Culture” sample project
    • When I unchecked Auto Page Height and then rechecked it, the value changed to 785x1000 in my test project
  • Phone Landscape (785x707) when you start a project. 785x450 is shown in the “Chinese Tea Culture” sample project
    • When I unchecked Auto Page Height and then rechecked it, the value changed to 785x450 in my test project
  • Phone Portrait (480x1015) when you start a project. 480x763 is shown in the “Chinese Tea Culture” sample project
    • When I unchecked Auto Page Height and then rechecked it, the value changed to 480x763 in my test project
I'm thinking that the browser issues for images and buttons are bugs, but haven't downloaded the most recent version of the software to test again. Shouldn't the Auto Page Height default to the second set of numbers (i.e., the ones that appear after I uncheck and recheck the setting)?

Has anyone had luck with setting up a responsive project? Can you offer any tips?

Thanks!
