completion date vs current date on certificate

Thanks for helping with this.

Our client is super anal about many things and so I am here asking how to accomplish a few tasks I can't seem to figure out.

ISSUE

The certificate has "current date" but I need "completion date" The testers started one day late and then it was after midnight and the date advanced.

How can I set the variable - in the date field for a completion certificate to date completed?

What is the easiest way to set the current date to a variable- thus making it Completion date then using that variable?

Hello

So the certificate wizard uses "Date course was completed" bt that is CurrentDate and that is not passing the testing at Accenture. The testers completed late one night and the certificate was printed after midnight and it showed the currentDate which was the day alert completion.

Can I add a variable to the certificate??
- I will set new variable CompletionDate equal to currentDate upon ButtonClick on "complete course"


please advise.
