Auto-Owners Development Best Practices

I wanted to put a thread out here where we can discuss best practices and eventually "lock in" some agreeable formatting standards for the company.

I hesitate to say "branding guidelines" because I don't want us to get stuck in a rut where every course is exactly the same with different content. I want us as developers to be able to breathe and create and push the envelope wherever possible, while still making our courses accessible to users and as painless to dive into as possible.

So, let's discuss! And as we come to some agreeable standards, I will update them here so they will be available without mass-scrolling as this conversation grows.
