Hello,

I would like to translate a specific e-learning to Hebrew, but I don't know whether RTL is available in SPOL. Has anyone tried that before, and if yes, could you share any documentation or short guidelines on how to do so?

Thanks & Kind regards,

Evangelos Zafeiratos

I worked for a team who did successful right to left translations.  What is SPOL?

    Hello Jennifer,

Thank you for your reply. SPOL is a branded version of Lectora Online actually, sorry for not clarifying this. Our translation team is attempting to integrate Hebrew in an existing Title, but they noticed that when mixing Latin with Hebrew text, the order of the words in the sentence is incorrect ( see also attached images ).

Based on your experience, could you share any hints that will help us overcome that issue?

    Thanks & Kind Regards,

From what I can tell this looks to be a potential bug in the system.  Can you pass your files along in a support ticket?  That way the content can be properly tested and checked.  To open a new on there is a button on the right-hand side of the community under the user's list.

I've seen that effect in Hebrew translations, when adding text to a shape or button instead of a textfield. It seems that Lectoras shape text editor is left-to-right only. I solved it by avoiding text in shapes and putting a textfield over the shape.

    Hello,

Can anyone confirm that this is still an issue? So, shapes in Lectora do not support RTL?

    Thank you, kind regards.

Patrick, I can't confirm anything about the problem, but notice that the original message in this thread was posted into the wrong forum. It's about Lectora Online, not Lectora Publisher/Inspire. I can't even tell whether the problem ever existed in Lectora Publisher.
