survey: assign value to each choice

I'd like to implement a survey with Lectora. The choices are 1 to 5 each is of a value. The result would calculate the total score based the choices people made and then give feedback.

I don't see a place to assign value to a choice. How can calculate the score without doing manual calculation with a lot of conditions?

Thanks,

You can assign a value to a question without it passing information to an LMS (like a survey) by placing it outside of a test.  That way you can call upon the Question variable to collect and store the data.

Thank you for the answer. How about Likert? I later found it's much easier to add questions with Likert but the user answer is in a long string based on the label. It does not seem to be able to get the individual items out.

Most instances I've heard of were developers using JQuery to pull the data out and pass it along.  Unfortunately, it's not my expertise but you might have luck searching for Likert and JQuery in the forums.
