Playing or Pausing an Entire Project - No Playbar

Hi all,

I am developing a course that is narrated and would like to have an option to Pause and Play the entire slide at the clikc of the button like we do in Captivate or Storyline with a playbar. I am using Lectora Publisher 11.

Currently, I am using transitions that control the display of text/images on the slide while the audio plays on the slide.

Any suggestion would help!

    Are you using the audio/video sync options?  This feature helps to place your transitions in the correct timing and will pause any audio and actions that are associated to the file.

    Assuming that the audio will auto-play and assuming that you are using the Synchronized Events for text or graphic transitions, then do the following.

    Add two graphics one on top of another - a Play icon and a Pause icon.  The Play icon should be underneath the Pause icon, and it should also be initially hidden.

    Add a transparent button on top of the icons. You will add three actions to the button.
    1. On MouseClick Toggle Play/Pause (and choose the audio file)
    2. On MouseClick Toggle Show/Hide (and choose the Pause icon)
    3. On MouseClick Toggle Show/Hide (and choose the Play icon)
