Lectora SCORM Running Slow on Moodle?

Hello,

Lectora (12.1.0) courses published as SCORM to Moodle are running very slow i.e. the page transitions and the page load-up. Is there are known reason why this happens?

Lectora course usually loads quite a lot of small files. Some web servers can be setup to throttle simultaneous loading of many files. This can be diagnosed and fixed by your server administrator. You can also use DevTools (hit F12 in most browsers) to confirm that.

I had this issue recently on our local intranet Moodle server in IE 11, and it was driving me absolutely batty.

Eventually realised that disabling compatibility mode in for Intranet sites fixed this issue for me, and it's been relatively smooth sailing since.
