Creating a hyperlink that displays a popup group on hover

I need to use a hyperlink to display a popup group (box, text, etc.) when it is rolled over.  I am currently converting the text to image, adding an invisible button(or 2) to display/hide the box.  Is there an easier way to do this? Can this be done with javascript? If so, do you have an example?

=It would be much easier to add the "Toggle show/hide" action to that hyperlink. Learner clicks on a hyperlinked word to show a tooltip and clicks again to hide it (you can also include a little X with a Hide action into the popup for convenience). The functionality of hovering over hyperlink to display something seems unattainable in Lectora and too much code in JS.
