iPad, Voiceover and YouTube

Good day members, I am experimenting with embedding a YouTube video in an online course. I created two samples, one using the Lectora 11 YouTube feature and one using old-fashioned HTML embed code. If I use the YouTube feature of Lectora, it does not appear on an iPad. If I use the embed code by inserting an HTML object it works.... until, I turn on the accessibility feature, Voiceover, then, the YouTube video suddenly does not play. It is as if it has something transparent on top of it, deactivating the play button.
This could be a user error, meaning, I do not know which gesture or control I need to use to push play in this mode, or something else is happening. Anyone else have any ideas?
