Course Title in SCORM dialog manually changed, now can't change back permanently

I've searched the forum and am unable to find a thread about this issue. As I understand it, the Course Title field in the SCORM publish dialog box normally is auto-populated with the course title in the Title Options. However, for testing purposes in our LMS last week, I appended some extra text to the course title in the SCORM dialog (e.g. "Test" and the publishing date). Now I'm unable to permanently remove that extra text. I can manually delete the text from the Course Title field when I publish, but when I access the dialog box again either to check to see if the field has retained my change or later to publish again, I see that the extra text is added back and I have to manually delete it again. I have checked the course title in the Title Options settings, in the title AU, etc., and the appended text is not there, so the version of the course title in the SCORM dialog must be stored somewhere else, even though it's initially auto-populated.
Has anyone else encountered this problem, and if so, is there a way to fix this? Deleting the configuration settings file and letting Lectora rebuild it didn't work (and doing so also screwed up some other settings). This isn't the end of the world, but I'm finishing this course in the next couple of days and handing it off for maintenance to another ISD. I would probably catch this every time I publish because I'm the kind of person who would check and recheck every setting in the dialog, but I can't assume that another ISD will in the future.
Thanks!
Lisa

Never mind! I just figured out how to fix it. It occurred to me that I might be able to open that configuration settings file in Notepad and remove the offending text there, and lo and behold, it worked!
In case anyone has this problem in the future: With the Lectora file closed and Lectora not running, I opened the configuration settings file in Notepad (right-click, open with Notepad), found the CourseTitle variable, deleted the offending text, saved and closed the file, and reopened the Lectora file and verified that the course title was fixed in the SCORM publish dialog box.
Thanks,
