Why lectora does the things it does?

There are two thing that I really dont understand about lectora / lectora output if anybody could explain them to me that would be great!

1. Why when you add a margin to a textbox does it feel the need to submerge all of the contents within a table and then add a padding to the table as opposed to just adding a padding to the original div it creates when adding a textbox?

2. why does it add a CSS Clip property to everything!!!

3. on Ipads, images and other objects (anything but buttons) that have actions on them will not run upon first landing on the page until you click something that has no actions set (e.g. the background), then the images with actions will function correctly.
