Question on Error Checking

I did a few searches on the forum and could not locate anything on this, so I figured I would throw it out for input. I would like to have an error message pop up on the screen when a button was not clicked. Basically, I want to lead the user to an area on a screen shot to click on a specific place. If they click on the wrong place, I want to direct them to the correct place via a text box and maybe a graphic that will point out the area where they should be clicking. It can appear for a set amount of time or it can wait for the correct click to clear the message. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

without seeing what you're working with, I think a hotspot question will work for what you're describing.

Easy. Cover the area with a transparent button that when clicked, displays your msg and maybe an arrow. Have actions on them to On Show, hide this object after 4 sec.



Then put your button that you want clicked on top of that.
