How to use Keystroke Toggle Play for Flash Animation?

I want to use the AudioExplanation flash characters in the media library, but I need to have a keystroke option for the user to pause/play the animation, in case the phone rings, someone walks into their office, etc. I tried to use the flash commands in the online help, but I couldn't get it to work. Can anyone provide me the steps/actions I need? I have a csmap.xml file in my extern directory where I put other flash variables, so I can use that if I need to.
