Button text problem

I have 4 buttons identical in size. They are BACK, NEXT, FIRST, and LAST. The navigation works correctly, but no matter how often I fix the text on them, they keep changing so that all 4 have the text that is placed on the last button. Any idea why this happens, and how to fix it?
