conditions to move to next page

I'm currently working on a feature for the welcome page in a course. I have a 'begin course' button at the bottom of the page. I have it set so this button will only work (take the user to the next page) if I have a certain variable set to 'yes'. Checking a box on the page sets this variable to 'yes'. This works, and the user can continue. The problem however, is that if the user unselects this check box, the variable will still be set to yes and the user can still access the course. Normally this would be easy to fix, however I noticed you can't associate actions with a check box.



Any suggestions for a solution?
