Now that Apple has unveiled their new iPad tablet device, I am wondering how does this technology open up more possibilities for Lectora for the development of learning modules as it is for smartphones? In the report I saw this evening it said, "The device, which looks like a large iPhone, can be used to watch films, play games, e-books, and browse the web." The opportunity for creating learning that is just-in-time, skills related, and new learning material, must be one that instructional designers will be challenged to take on. But are companies willing to add this new tool to their slate of network-enabled company devices? See Apple iPad tablet being presented to the media.
