The thing is, Lectora CAN communicate with Flash if it's packaged as an exe or for CD.  Unfortunately, Flash can't communicate back with Lectora.

I guess I never really noticed it before, but the Flash player security in 8 and above must allow javascript calls into the player but not out of the player.
