Video File Formats

Ryan,

FLV is optimal, as Lectora compresses and converts other video types to FLV anyways.  I just created a practice and play course to see if it is working correctly for me and this is how I did it.

1. Click Add Video, Select the FLV, make sure Always on top and Initially visible are checked.

2. Make sure that you choose Bring to front if you right click and go to Layering.

3. If you have multiple pages, just make sure you are opening the right one out of the file, and make sure your security options allow your browser to open this kind of media (I have to right click a bar under my address bar and go to Allow blocked content).

Other then those few things, I had no problems when viewing in web browser, or once I published to html and opened up the page.
