Indented text remains when remove bullet

There should be a "decrease indent" or "increase indent" button that should take care of your hidden formatting symbols. You just have to toggle between these two buttons and the bullet option button until you get what you want. I went through an entire course thinking that there was no way to indent a bullet point (only the text behind it). But there is you just have to play. Also "paste unformatted text" is your friend if you are copying large amounts of text from microsoft ppt.
