Currently we are seeking individuals for the following position:

OPS Technical Administrator



Position Purpose:

The role of the Technical Administrator is to: provide support, guidance and coaching to OPS staff for the testing, maintenance and hosting of training materials owned/managed by OPS to the appropriate servers, as well as providing quality control tasks and addressing support issues as needed In addition the technical administrator will provide support for the creation of training courses using OPS approved tools/technologies.





Organizational Relationships:

Reports to the OPS Learning Management Manager

This position has no direct reports



Primary Duties:

- Maintain central files with course structure diagrams and specific details related to specific P2L changes

- Retrieve completed course files from external vendors through the use of electronic file transfer protocol systems

- Performs final quality control checks on all courses to ensure required components are present

- Performs final publishing of course files and posting of course files to the e-learning hosting environment

- Submits help desk tickets to manage the promotion of course files through the e-learning hosting environment

- Maintains the central archive of course files for OPS

- Submit the Learning Experience Forms to enter courses into Power2Learn

- Develop and edit simple web based activities under direction of a Training Project Lead

- Provide additional technical administrative assistance to TPLs as needed

- Assist in simple troubleshooting / problem-solving training queries

- Make changes to course data using Smart Forms and/or P2L administrators

- Generate weekly status updates including documentation of all changes made to all courses in catalog

- Report findings / changes to appropriate TPL Owners

Skills Required to be considered:

- MUST have experience using Lectora Professional Publishing Suite, Articulate and Adobe Captivate. Please do not submit resume without this experience.



Experience/Skills Preferred

- Ability to troubleshoot and report issues (e.g. technical/structural)

- Excellent customer support skills

- Proven data analysis skills and experience

- Excellent customer focus and listening/facilitation skills

- Proven technical writing skills and experience

- Ability to analyze and distill complex, task-specific information into a standardized summary format

- Excellent written & oral communication skills

- Excellent customer focus and listening/facilitation skills

- An understanding of systems and electronic technologies

- Experience using Lectora Professional Publishing Suite, Articulate, Adobe Captivate

- Experience using learning management systems

- Experience with web-based systems and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to multitask and prioritize

- Ability to work independently

- Organizational skills, attention to detail



Minimum Education Required:

- Training & Education Preferred:



High School Graduate

- AS or BS preferred

- Background/experience in Writing, Communications, Project Management, Education and Reporting a plus
