Hiding Inherited Button

I do that myself - I hide the "next" button until the page has played out.I created my button set and put it to show on every page. Then I set the properties as UNchecked "Intitially Visible" so it starts out as hidden. As the last action on each of my pages, I "show" it.This works for a button "group" or for an individual button, as you choose.
