add a variable to the course and set it to say 1 when the pre-assessment is complete remember to retain this between sessions and it will be stored in suspend_data. Then on each page of the pre-assessment (inherit from the top is best) add an action whchi checks for this variable and if it is equal to 1 then you know they have been to teh end of the pre-assessment so take them to a page telling them such with no navigation other than exit.you could just exit out, although the student may be confused as to why this is happning.
