Drag and drop activity

Tidka - Even in 2008, you can't do the "pile" thing you want to do -- you have to set up specific drop spots for each item. This has been a hot topic on the Trivanits boards...see http://community.trivantis.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=5459&KW=t arget and http://community.trivantis.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=3902&PN=2 I got around it once by adding a whole bunch of actions to test for every possible correct position (each "pile" was represented by a set of blank strips onto which you could drag the same-sized text strips -- actions checked to see whether each item was in one of the "acceptable" blanks. I don't remember exactly what I did -- I think it may have included having to build variables (adding characters to their value) and then testing whether the characters were all there to determine if they got the thing right. Sorry, I know this probably sounds like gibberish, but, the basic point is that being able to do the "pile" thing isn't provided for with the standard functionality.LauraEdited By: Tecocat on 2008-8-1 18:4:56
