We had the option of multiple users per computer. We didn't use an official database, but Flash can use a "shared object" which is really just a cookie that flash writes. I think they are limited to 100K but that is a lot of user names and passwords. Ours was set up so when a new user set up an account, their username and password were written to the shared object. Then on each of the pages we had a small invisible flash movie that wrote the users location to the shared object. So a new user would start at the beginning, but if someone used their username and password it would get their last location and send them there. Hope that helps some.
