Unless of course a company is happy with their small market nitch and does not plan on expanding.Authorware is great but ther player isn't. Adobe (Macromedia) has not been listening to the customers using Authorware for several years now. That is why an awful lot of Authorware developers and looking around. You are right that if they wanted to they could develope a product that could be used by people that do not want to know what is under the hood and for the folks who do want to know. Just because it is available does not mean everyone has to use it.The sad thing is that if Trivantis keeps ignoring folks who want to do more then another product will fill the gap and they will loose these customers just as Macromedia is now.Lectora is a good product but I would like it much more if I could have access to more of what it does in the background and then makes unavailable to us unless we use it their way.
