As a new user of Lectora I was surprised to find that there was no facility for using conditional loops, such as a for until statement or do while or do until or any conditional statements such as a Switch or Case statement. There are also no indexed arrays which means I can cycle through images, buttons etc and turn on/off their visibility using reusable code.I have these in Flash and Authorware and most other authoring tools but not in Lectora, any idea why?It would be great to be able to add these to run groups to make them proper functions and greatly streamline my code.It all makes programming a bit clunky.
I am like yourself Bassman - an Authorware developer by trade. I would like to see further development of Lectora to encompass some of that functionality.
