Images flickering when changing page

I always publish to HTML, and use Firefox for testing the result. Now I do a check with IE as well, and have a problem with flickering images: each time I go to another page, the images briefly disappear and then come back again (this includes images such as navigation buttons that are on each and every page).I have tried to find out whether it is a consequence of something I did in the title, but couldn't find out.Does anyone know whether this image flickering is normal? Can something be done about it?Thanks,Twan
